Three guys at a party by sabastious
by sabastious inthree bros are at a party and they all have been noticing a specific gorgeous woman since she came in.
the first guy goes, "dudes, i am all over that" the second guy states in a cool and confident voice, "fellas, there is definitely a party in those pants, but unfortunately it's invitation only" the third guy boldy walks over the woman and asks, "where do i rsvp?".

Is this normal witness behavior?
by confusedstudent ini quit my bible study a couple days ago after taking a month or two to work up the guts.
have been getting harassing emails/phone calls blah blah blah.
but i got an email today telling me that an unbelieving spouse can be "sanctified" by his believing mate.

When I was a witness, I could use fear by using and twisting scriptures, even more so than that which you have experienced, I (brought)a person into JW,s At the time I thought I had done well. Now I feel incredibly guilty, I wish I could turn the clock back, but I cant, I think of ways to get this person to question the lies. I may have inadvertently messed up someones life. I have to carry that around with me.
You have had a narrow escape, JW,s Know every trick in the book, and then some.Had you joined,got baptised, the consequences for you and your family could have been catastrophic. Every aspect of your life would come under such scrutiny, and judgement, and loss of personal freedom, that moving to Afghanistan becoming a moslem and wearing a burka would have seemed like a good career move.
On the topic of fear and paranoia, It got most of us on this forum, to subject our thinking facultys, to become Robotic, mindless automotons, I have not embraced another religion, however I cant recall a single incident where Jesus had to resort to fear and intimidation to teach and enlighten people, and as Christians,we were to follow in his footsteps.

HELP! How do I FADE without being DF'D??
by doubtful ini'm in a tough position.
i gave my last talk as an ms a couple of weeks ago, and i haven't been out in field service in well over a month.
i "came out" to the closest people in my life...namely my gf and mother...i was also recently asked to step down from being a servant - largely because my heart was no longer in it and i couldn't stomach going from door to door peddling magazines and other literature full of lies and logical fallacies.

YOU are not in a tough posistion, living in a third world country with no hope is a tough position, you are a spoiled little kid, who is worried about loosing fuck all. get a grip young man, and keep things in perspective, You are a very junior salesman in the Corp. Even if the worst scenario takes place, you are well ok, get a fucking life.

I would describe the Watchtower's Disfellowshipping as truly merciless
by sabastious inthoughout my life i have seen many take the walk of shame that is disfellowshipping.
i have never been df'ed, but i have had many experiences reading the faces of newly df'ed ones.. their faces are always the same.
defeated by a foe that they never had a chance with in the beggining; a raping so-to-speak.

As much as i feel relieved to be free, I have to tell you that the JC, I experienced were great, I had to plead with them that I wanted to be disfellowshipped, they obliged,reluctently. I wont impute wrong motives to them, they tried to do there best. I just hated it and wanted out.
Some people want to retain contact with others, not me, Just like Alladin getting out the lamp, I was free FREE. If I had stayed in, I would have used violence on 2 elders, even after 7 years out I could still cheerfully slaughter them, figurativley speaking SIMON, of course !

It was a vehicle known as a PIG, anyone in UK forces who done NI tour circa, 70,s 80,s may have driven, 1 ton of vehicle 7 tons of armour,probably the type of motor you need in the States. LOL

Yep, I never met so many asholes as in JW,s. I finally got my sister to study thinking I was doing the right thing.The husband of this lady my sister was studying with used the oppertunity to miss-sell her an insurance policy, she didn,t complete the study.When later on she discovered she had been miss-sold this policy and had lost thousands of pounds as a result, she blamed me, as a then JW, I did not have a leg to stand on,the elder was a conman and a thief. I wont bore you with the many examples I could add here. I wouldnt piss on a witness if he was on fire

Hiya, sweetmocha a big WELCOME, Great advice from the rest of the crew, I only wish you were here in UK, our benefits system,would be an enormous help to you, Im hopeful where you live has some sort of help for women your in predicement, perhaps you can investigate this as part of your exit strategy ? I went through a similar experience(the breakup of a marriage that had run its course, and leaving the Corp) Im sure you will cope, it never ceases to amaze me the way most women find the strength and will, when the heve children.
I think you will find it a great relief to get out of two strangleholds at once.
